For main the crumbed veal cutlet dish was deliciously moist such a generous size, and the slow roasted goat was heaven itself. Will be back for more of this for sure. Oh..and the rest of the great wine list selection!
I've known Lorenzo for a few years now, our company had Xmas dinner at his previous restaurant and everything was amazing! His new venture is even better! I had my birthday dinner there and regardless of them being basically full, the level of service and quality of the food were exemplary. We never had any problems or issues. We will be back and will bring more friends. You should come here asap!
Each time we have visited, Lorenzo and his crew have been welcoming and friendly. Last night we dropped in and even though Epoca was already full and super busy with a function, they couldn't do enough to accomodate us and our special requests : thanks! Yum yum yum ...
If I was to ever open my own restaurant, it would be very similar to Osteria Epoca (just maybe French instead of Italian). The focus is on the food without all the arrogance of some more upmarket restaurants in the Brisbane area. Lunch on Saturday was a beautiful shared platter of cured meats and pickles and this morning for breakfast, I had the sauteed mushrooms and my partner had the Italian sausages. Very generous portions. The danger for me is the deli section with all the wonderful goodies for sell. Dinner is next on the list. Well done!
I moved here from Italy 4 years ago and I would have never thought I would have found the true flavours of my childhood in this restaurant: BUONISSIMO!
