Nando's Toowong - Brisbane

Our food took 20+ minutes to come to our table whilst multiple Uber eats were packaged in the time it took to bring out one burger and a large fries. It was not busy, maybe only 5 other tables in the venue. Not good for...business.

The restaurant is clean, with friendly staff and quick service. The food arrived promptly, which was great. The restaurant is easily accessible and conveniently located near UQ, which offers plenty of transportation options.

We had previously tried Nandos a long time ago, so we were quite surprised by our recent visit. The restaurant did not feel inviting. We had to find a table for four as there were no available tables for just the two of us. It took a while for our order to be taken and I had to search for the water station myself. Despite the restaurant not being very busy, our two burgers and chips took a long time to arrive. The burger buns were very tough and difficult to chew, even when using a knife and fork. The burgers themselves were bland and needed extra sauces for flavor. The chips were over seasoned and left us with dry mouths. If our experience is indicative of the rest of the menu, improvements are needed. Additionally, we were disappointed when a family with noisy children sat right next to us in the nearly empty restaurant. A good host would have seated all guests to ensure privacy and enjoyment for everyone.

This Nando's restaurant is good with plenty of seating. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. They have good vegetarian options for those like me who don't eat chicken at a chicken place. I always enjoy the veggie pita extra hot.
