Muse Cafe - Brisbane

The lady who served us was lovely (I’m guessing the manager due to her not being in uniform), but staff didn’t look very well trained (two girls working the coffee machine), as I work in hospitality as well I understand it gets busy and what not but we got takeaway, once we got our coffees both were cold and missing ¼ of the drink plus waiting over 20 minutes. Not very happy with the quality and service time.

Very disappointing experience. It took 10 minutes to get an overpriced takeaway coffee, with no apology or acknowledgment from the staff whatsoever. Clearly there is no attempt to retain repeat business from locals, which is just as well as both the Gallery Cafe and Library Cafe are serviced by first class staff.

Best value and prices in the Arts Centre precinct. We started our day at GOMA but couldn't afford to feed our family of 5 there so we had a look at the Library Café. They were also above our budget. Fearing that we would have to take the kids to Macca's on the way home we made one last ditch effort to get food before getting in the car. Collector's Café had a 15 minute queue but it was worth it. We bought 3 of their gourmet rolls (big enough to share), a large chips and bottles of water for the kids which we were told that were on special with a coffee purchase so we had coffee. It cost under $50 to feed 5. Coffee was good but the sandwiches were the best. They were fresh and came toasted after we took a buzzer to collect. We left satisfied.

Is very disappointed in the staff at this cafe. The line was bad. Getting kids their meal was one thing. One lady told me to go around the front to order the food at the front. So that's what I did. And the counter is closed. Not a happy customer. I did not want to line up once again to get something to eat. Will not be coming here again.

Whenever I visit the Queensland Museum I stop at the Collectors Cafe for a coffee and sometimes something sweet. The coffee here is always quite nice and service is prompt even when the museum is hosting popular exhibitions.
