"The best ramen in Brisbane can be found in the city, although those in the marketplace seem to be less authentically Japanese. At the marketplace, the staff allowed me to call ahead and order my ramen for pickup in just ten minutes. Unfortunately, the young staff in the city don't offer that option, which is frustrating, especially considering how terrible parking is in the area."

I had a great experience at this restaurant, particularly with their ramen and gyoza. The ramen bowls are priced between $14 and $18, which is reasonable for the portion size—just right for lunch, neither too big nor too small. The gyoza was delicious, featuring a delightful smoky flavor and crispy edges. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. An added bonus is that they offer free ramen on your birthday! Definitely worth checking out.

The staff was pleasant and very attentive. The food was just as delicious as the ramen I had when I visited Tokyo.

It's like a little slice of Japanese life. Having been to Kyoto I can say that the stairs are very Japanese and the interior decor is the right amount of Australian to make it palatable to Westerners but not too modern. Good slice of life and a cheap feed!!
