Burger Urge - Brisbane

Look man, we just came in for an average burger, but shockingly this was perhaps the most exquisite, delightful and life changing burger I’ve ever feasted upon. Some sweet young man out front was perhaps an angel in disguise, he looked deep into my soul...and I felt safe. Swaddled like small baby after having a nightmare, I was protected, I was happy, I was at peace. This was just the start of the experience. We then ate our burgers, and that, that was an experience out of this world. Imagine tiny penguins nibbling on your toes as you float majestically through the clouds on a turtle. What a feast. Visited the restaurant to find there was only one staff member (cook), he didn’t know how to operate the cash register but helped us select a menu offer and started to make it while he waited for the cashier to return. When the cashier did...return he advised the burger we selected wasn’t part of the beer and burger deal and we would have to pay extra, even though we were advised it was. Without argue we paid extra but were then told the beer attached to the deal wasn’t available- essentially couldn’t have the burger deal. The burgers ordered came out warm and the chicken crunchy no complaints there. Not just for service standards but also safety and security reasons I hope they have two staff members in the store and staff revise the menu.

Just love it when you order and the staff give you the wrong order, argue with you and instead of fixing or changing order want to charge you for correct order.

Had a good meal and a couple of drinks here. The meals are cooked fresh and presented well. Not overfaced but well preportioned. Not expensive. Relaxed and rustic atmosphere.
