Blackwood Cafe & Espresso Bar

Had the fritters they were nice. Asked if could get a bit of balsamic vinegar (glaze is just as nice) to go over the avo. Staff returned to advise it would cost $2, really $2 bucks. Needless to say “argh No/Nevermind”. Already paid $22 bucks for the meal could even splash some vinegar or glaze on the avo

Having a breakfast at the Cafe was a good choice The staff here were all outstanding and very helpful The coffee was a good standard and a toasted sandwich was good only cimplaint was the garnish on the toasties was very old yellow and wilted would be better no to have put anyone the plate but can overlook this as everything else was perfect and they were very busy lots of takeaway too

Customer service is why we go out for coffee, we can have it free at home. Rudeness and mean-spirited managers lead to disgruntled staff. The review about the baby being scalded by staff, who were dismissive!!! Unforgivable. We will not leave a positive review despite the over-priced coffee being good. Plenty of lovely cafes in Mitchie where the staff are kind, reasonable and courteous. And the coffee is good.

I would like to thank Hayley for going above and beyond to help with my Mother’s Day booking. I had left it too late and Hayley did everything she could to accommodate us. The food and the service was amazing! I would highly recommend!

Such a great cafe in Blackwood street, staff are all so friendly welcoming (even to our pup)! Best coffee hot Chocolate around they actually listen to what you want and deliver! Must check it out and bring your 4 legged friend as well (they do doggy treats) Thank you
