Hibiscus Room - BRISBANE CITY

Conveniently located in the city above the Queen Street Mall this roof top bar is a great place for a pre or post dinner drinks. Have a wander around the city sites then settle down by the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy a cocktail, craft beer or a snack. There is a lovely view across the mall featuring the old style architecture that is rarely given a look when shopping. Staff are pleasant and have gone the extra mile when the bar is not busy. The entrance maybe hard to find at first but it is worth the extra awareness to get up there and relax. Great ambience!

Excellent food, could easily sit there all day running through the beer offering.

I was glad to dine here for Valentine's Day, but everything felt quite disorganized. There was only one staff member attending to over 30 customers. The food, however, was excellent. I was really hoping for a nice atmosphere on the rooftop terrace, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.

After waiting over 30 minutes, another employee came by to check if we had ordered, and then informed us that it wasn’t actually table service and that we needed to order at the cash register. I saw other tables getting their drinks, so I ended up having to fetch our own drinks as well. To top it all off, they ran out of pizzas, which is a major part of their menu. Fortunately, the Korean spicy chicken was excellent, but our other meals were quite mediocre. It was clear that customer service is not a priority for them, and it seems like they only want to serve hotel guests.
