The girl who served us was friendly and accommodating (strawberry blonde with piercings), but the other girl (bright orange hair with black glasses) had a very unpleasant attitude towards customer service. My 74-year-old mother is particular about her meat and requested no fat on her sandwich, which is understandable. The other girl seemed annoyed and rolled her eyes. At the register, she made faces because my mother took too long getting her own napkins and shook her head when my mother took four napkins instead of two. I wish she could see how her attitude and facial expressions were affecting our experience. I wanted to leave our food and walk away. We will not be returning to this restaurant because of that one employee. It's not just about the food, but the overall experience, right?
Good coffee, good service, prices fair and fast delivery. Like so many of these places it depends on the staff on shift. We got goodies.
It was just after 3pm and the blackboard said Toasties. That was just what I was feeling like for a late lunch after DFO'ing. A bit disappointing as there were plenty of people around, and the paninis left in the cabinet didn't look that appealing. I did have a small chips with chicken salt then went to the sushi shop a few shops down for my lunch.
Charging $10 for kids' nuggets and chips, with an additional charge for sauce and a steep $4.90 for a bottle of Pepsi Max. A card surcharge was added on top of the already high prices, and I had to request a fork. It seems like they are taking advantage of the limited food options at DFO to overcharge customers.
I ordered the beef roll for $9.90 and was very disappointed. The roll was cold, with warm beef and too much gravy spilling out. It was small and definitely not worth the price. To make matters worse, for $14.90 you can get chips and a drink. It was a complete joke.
