Food was OK, Service was Bad. Waited 1 hr for food(although tere were 11 people in party). Waitress basically ignored us . Food was OK but chief vegetable were put on same plates a Lemon Picatta so they tasted like lemon and they were soggy. Will not return nor recommend.

We were ignored to the nth degree by service staff. We attended a seminar and we were treated like stray dogs on a rainy night. “ Chicken or steak?” was about the only service interaction that took place. We were going to get steaks but we requested med-well and they said everything is cooked medium? Staff said she would ask. She came back and said no can’t do it. This was a lifetime low bar in service for us. I changed my request to the chicken smothered in something. Hard bread was dropped off without butter and we had our ice water for survival. We did not see service again until seminar was over. Still no butter! No coffee, here’s your chicken! Chef needs to have a meeting with staff and owner to figure out how to deliver basic service. Seminar patrons could become an addition to the customer base in the restaurant. I would imagine the conversion rate is extremely low.

My husband has to travel to Ohio frequently for business and he came back from this last trip raving about this place that he absolutely has to take me. So last weekend I took a Friday off work so we could fly up for a long weekend. It did not disappoint. Unfortunately the night of our dinner reservations it was horrible weather. But when the owner came over he remembered my husband and realized that we had flown up from Florida, he invited us back the next day for a tour and wine tasting, so we were able to get pictures. Good atmosphere, great food and stunning views...what more could you ask for?

I was so impressed by my first visit I told the manager I would be back and bring my wife the next time I was in town.That time came last Friday in fact she took a day off so we could fly in that day. We were a little bummed the weather was really bad and we couldn't dine outside overlooking the lake. Zouheir came out to check on us and he remembered me from last month. He bought a free desert and invited us to come back on Saturday as his special guest for a private tour. He his wife were great to us and they allowed to take photos for our memory book. Can't say enough about The Overlook, the food is greater but the hospitality is unforgettable. Zouheir is example of the people who make this a special place to live.

Beautiful setting overlooking lake. We had a very good meal. My husband said his Quesadilla was one of the best he had ever eaten. The salads were very large size, fresh and delicious. Noted a full size bar. Prices were reasonable.Staff was very nice and attentive. We will return soon for a nice experience.
