Premises are simple and functional so don't expect more than that. Lovely Lassi drink which isn't often on the menu elsewhere and a great curry accompliment.
Can't stay away from this little gem of a place which looks like nothing from outside. Meals made in any combo and served on a big tray/thali, always with a few extra freebies. Chicken and lamb curries/biryanis, paratha, lassis all top-notch. Plenty of good veg options (though not my preference). Lovely ladies too!
Absolutely wonderful veggie thali this evening- a beautiful warm and lightly spiced split lentil Dahl with a crunch and zing of coriander stalk, a fantastic touch. A garlicky spinach and potato dish, again warmly and mildly spiced, like a warm blanket wrapped around you. True comfort. A whole bag of crunchy fried treats, including a paratha, mini samosas, delightfully large and crispy onion bhaji and a daal poori stuffed with tasty chickpeas. Needless to say, I didn’t finish or even start the rice! Thank you so much for this delicious food, I will of course be back to try more!
Lovely food...confusing menu so just ask and they will help you choose ...we spent ten pounds each .took our own wine and the corkage money went to their charity...will now be a regular visitor at this little gem. Give it a try ...am sure you will enjoy....
Just visited this lovely cafe.. and the food was absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend and hope we can fit in another visit before we leave at the end of the week! If you want a beer or glass of wine, take your own and donate to their wonderful charity. (If we can’t fit in a visit I’m taking home a takeaway! Thank you it was truly delicious!
