Sussex Yeoman - Brighton and Hove

A nice peaceful pub just 2 minutes from Brighton train station. The pub is spotless, including the toilets. 2 tvs on, and various mainstream programmes are selected on low volume. Our roast diners were generously portioned and obviously cooked to order. Good selection of beers and lagers available. Landlord and staff very friendly and welcoming. Will visit here again whenever in the area.

I visited the Sussex Yeoman on a Wednesday night and discovered they have karaoke, which was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and prompt with our drinks, even though it was crowded. Would definitely return.

What happened here? This once was a restaurant, now it's a sports pub serving an average Sunday roast. The staff is friendly and welcoming, but the atmosphere and menu are completely different. It seems like there has been a change in ownership.

There was a fantastic selection of dishes on the menu board, making it difficult to decide. It was a busy weekday night and the restaurant was almost full, with only one table available. This classic pub has the kitchen located upstairs behind the bar. Overall, the food was good but not quite deserving of a perfect 5-star rating.
