Chard Cafe - Brighton and Hove

This brunch place was delicious! the restaurant is so intimate with beautiful natural light. I ordered the eibrot with roasted patches and sweet walnuts, the aromen were unusual and complicated so well! the menu changes monthly, but a friend asked in advance about something from a previous menu and she made it for her! nice touch. would like to be back for a special occasion.

I came to try the dinner menu as I had heard good things about the place and the reviews were not wrong. the eating was fantastic, the environment was unique, not like a Bland chain and the service and the hospitality I received was second on none. the owners really make them feel like home, they were friendly, friendly and friendly. they made them feel like they had met them for years and they had gone to the house of a friend for dinner. I would recommend to anyone who lives in brighton and hove to visit chard that they will not regret it.

We visited for a belated Valentine's meal, treating ourselves to the 7 course menu, and had a fantastic evening. Not just the clever, varied and tasty dishes each with their own backstory but the friendly and relaxed service over several hours, evident passion for doing something properly, and thoughtful details that make it a special evening like knowing who we were before we'd even mentioned our names. Excellent value too given the quality and decent portion sizes. Keep doing what you do!
