Caffe Nero Brighton - Brighton and Hove

I was in need of a quick lunch but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. The staff were nice and our sandwiches were decent, but the coffee was so bitter that it was impossible to drink. The tea wasn't much better - a large mug with a small teabag and too much milk. The restroom was not recommended, as it was not very clean and the lock didn't work. I wouldn't suggest this place, as there are better coffee shops available in the area.

I stopped by the Cafe Nero on Western Road for a quick drink on my way back to the station. The seating area looked a bit dirty, probably due to a busy day in Brighton, but I didn't stay to drink so my review is mainly based on the service. I can't recall the name of the server, but he was a male who served me around 5:30pm on June 2nd. I hope my compliments can be passed on to him. He made an exceptional coffee and generously added extra syrup for me. He was very pleasant and despite the rush, he remained friendly and apologized for any delay. Thank you! I've been a fan of Cafe Nero lately and it's people like him who create such a lovely atmosphere.

I stopped by for a coffee and a sandwich and immediately regretted it. The place was dirty, with filthy floors and tables that were not cleared and felt sticky and unhygienic. I couldn't wait to leave. Caffè Nero, this was a big disappointment. Where are your standards?

We had some time to kill in the afternoon so we stopped here for a rest. It was lovely. We ordered a tea and hot chocolate and found some comfy seats in the corner. Drinks were piping hot and delicious. Cafe was clean and tidy, service was prompt. Would visit again!

Need to get a drink befor Nero closed and my 5 year old wanted the toilet befor we went home. About 6.45 I was told they was already shut and also refused to let my child go to the loo... They should be open till 7 then close. Not good business and very unhelpful also so disappointed won't go back. I'll stick with Costa now.
