The Wooden Spoon Bakery Cafe - Brighton

We dropped by for a late lunch on a Saturday after our hike. We had a well-prepared Cobb salad and a freshly grilled pork tenderloin sandwich, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The cherry chocolate cake was absolutely delicious! The prices were fantastic for everything we ordered, and the service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be returning!

The restaurant is closed today and won't reopen until the 8th. I was really looking forward to enjoying some danishes and a hearty breakfast. Hopefully, I'll get the chance next time!

This is a wonderful hidden gem for families visiting the area. We were staying at Lake Darling State Park, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a filling breakfast before heading out to enjoy the great outdoors.

What a great find! Homemade food and fresh baked goods. Traveling through the area and found this gem. I had the Chicken Cordon bleu soup, probably one of my favorite soups ever. BLT was perfect as was the Apple Turnover. My colleague had the special of the day which was meatballs with potatoes and gravy...she loved it. Broccoli salad was a big winner too.

We ordered cupcakes and decorated sugar cookies for our baby shower. The cupcakes were great. We got so many compliments about how cute onesie and animals cookies were, plus they are probably the best decorated sugar cookies we've ever had. We liked them so much, we ordered more to have a special treat for the long days and nights with a newborn.
