Food was good but the service is terrible! One of our guests asked for water with a lemon slice. Waitress comes back with our drinks and tells our guest “we are not allowed to put lemon slices in our water” we then asked her for a few lemon slices and we will put the lemon slice in ourselves. Her reply was that the manager would not allow her to do that! At the end of our meal the waitress brings our bill. Their policy is that the customer has to go to the counter to pay the bill. While we were waiting for a member of our family to pay the bill. The rest of were finishing up our coffee and drinks, when the waitress comes to the table to inform everyone that if we wanted to continue talking that she suggested that we go outside! While we were standing outside talking about how rude we were treated, we noticed a sign proudly hanging on their front door proclaiming Black Lives Matter and a list of other leftist statements. As long as the current management is in charge, we will never give our hard earned money to such a rude and hateful company. By the way, All lives matter and God is love!

Rude owner and extremely slow service. I am a single parent, just moved to the area and came in here before alone, but today, came in for the first time with my INFANT and 4 Year old to grab breakfast before going to the playground. We came in hungry and then we were seated almost immediately, but after about 25 minutes food had still not arrived. The waitress popped by to say there were still two tickets ahead of ours. I decided to cancel our order and leave. Before leaving, I mentioned it to the owner. Rather than being apologetic told me that I shouldn’t bring my kids in if we need to eat quickly because it’s not “a fast food restaurant” and we shouldn’t get any special priority over anyone else just because they are kids. 1 I hadn’t asked for special priority, (but other restaurants we ate at in Denver would gladly fire a kids meal ahead of the entire order of the table, as well the Highland house in White Lake but 2 30 minutes for some pretty average quality eggs and waffles is extreme. I will never eat here again and not just because of the food, but because of the horrible way the owner spoke to me. I have dined in restaurants all over the world. After a 30 minute wait, you should be getting Michelin star food not some very basic eggs and waffles. it’s just a poorly run restaurant and clearly short staffed. There has been of help wanted sign up for at least the three weeks since my first visit. I don’t blame restaurant workers for not wanting to work here if this is the person who manages them. We are struggling to adjust to living in this place after moving here from Colorado and I am heartbroken to such rude people and treatment. makes me feel very unwelcome in our new town.

Had breakfast. Everything was excellent. First time here, and we will be back!
