Taj Natural Foods - Brighton

We absolutely adore this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at affordable prices, as well as a fantastic selection of legumes, spices, and vegetarian/vegan options. They even have a hot counter serving delicious dishes like biryani, bhaji, falafel, and curried potatoes for around £12.

This supermarket is fantastic! They have a wide selection of vegan options including tofu, vegan cheese, chocolates, sweets, and quorn. They also have a great variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. I have tried a few other major chains and they don't compare in terms of vegan options. Some items can be a bit expensive, but overall a great place to shop.

Taj offers a diverse selection of vegan food choices. They have ingredients that are difficult to find in other places. Living far from international food stores, this is a major benefit for me. Additionally, they have a selection of vegan refrigerated and frozen items.

Writing this as other reviews are very old. I've been in Brighton for a year now and visit Taj semi regularly as it is a decent store in the centre. It is easy enough to avoid the non vegan areas (think deli and frozen stuffs). Fruit and veg are first in the store, and down the first aisle are the vegan frozen goods. Big section of vegan milks, and has other vegan items scattered around the non perishable isles. The main reason I go here is because they sell plastic free (PF) spinach and Bonsoy milk pure Tetra Pak, no plastic cap. I usually pick up other hard to find PF items here like mandarin segments, tofu, juices... They also do various mushrooms (shiitake, oyster) that are difficult to find, white sweet potato and papaya!

This is a great shop and has just been extended. Has so many vegan items and is reasonably priced. You won't walk out without buying anything!
