Shimla - BRIGHT

Good food, genuine Indian. One of the chefs is an Indian woman. Couldn't understand the Italian connection and didn't try any Italian. Rather spartan decor, bland and not very cheerful - too much light. Friendly staff

The food, wine, atmosphere, and hospitality were all fantastic. The hosts took the time to introduce themselves to us. We enjoyed the butter chicken with delicious roti bread, and for dessert, the tiramisu was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

We visited Bright during the week and luckily came across Shimla, which serves what must be a unique Indian and Italian menu. We had intended to come back later during our visit, but upon discovering they were closed mid-week made the decision to stop in...More

Great atmosphere.....funny manager/ owner.... Food was delicious! We tried the goat curry and was not dissapointed!

Waited to be attended to the table.Staff seemed overwhelmed.One staff should always be on the floor. Staff in kitchen, leaving no staff on attendance in dining area.No bread with oil or butter served whilst waiting. No pappadums served whilst waiting.Beef ravioli average. Ok. Nothing to write home about.Beef vindaloo fine. Enough beef chunks and plenty of sauce. Generous serve of rice.
