Disclaimer: I will start admitting that this will probably be an assumed assessment, as I am a big fan of this place and proudly tasman
The location of the restaurant is spectacular, on dunes high above the golf course with views of the bass road and the surrounding city bridport. Unfortunately, the view was not enough to serve for the spectacular bad service and bad quality eating to our group at midday. the service was regrettable, and the man who served us should be used elsewhere because of his inability and his rude nature. our party was almost an hour there before one of us decided to approach the writing to find out when we are visited. By the way, the waiter finally approached our tables and began to take over the commands. one of our parties attempted to order a dessert at the same time, as the main thing and was briefly said that he would come back later. after another long break, the food finally arrived. the grinding times were extremely simple and in many cases overwhelmed or of poor quality. a grundburger with a few fried kartoffels in a cup was $24 and was extremely disappointing and not on par with even a grundmilchbar in relation to the dessert order, the waiter never back to the table and so was the thought of dessert left in no phase has someone refreshed our water jugs or about eating it felt so personal it the payment of our bills was another shady that took an extraordinary amount of time and rest from the same heart, which failed in every sight I thought to take my wife into this restaurant, but I fear that I have more than one look to make such efforts.
I have to say that this review may come off as biased, as I am a huge fan of this restaurant and proud Tasmanian, so this being my second visit to The Lost Farm speaks volumes. The standout dish for me was the eye fillet, which was cooked perfectly rare, just how I like it. Overall, I highly recommend The Lost Farm for a fantastic dining experience.
The restaurant's location is breathtaking, situated on dunes overlooking the golf course with views of Bass Strait and the city of Bridport. However, the stunning view was not enough to make up for the disappointing service and poor quality food we experienced during our midday visit. The service was lacking, with one particular waiter displaying incompetence and rudeness. We waited nearly an hour before someone in our group had to approach the staff to inquire about our order. Eventually, the waiter came to our table to take our orders. One member of our party tried to order dessert at the same time as placing the rest...
