King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse Pub

The server Suzanne was amazing. Best I ever had. Professionally fast and friendly. The food was excellent well cook and very tasty. The restaurant was clean and warm. I nice range of food and drinks.

For your typical chain restaurant, the experience is enhanced by the eye of detail in the food and service. Hot food, clean venue, friendly staff. I recently had a very disappointing experience at Sedgemoor Cookhouse. I was refused service for no reason, and I was left feeling humiliated and angry. I arrived at the restaurant on a Friday evening with my partner. We were seated at a table and given menus. We ordered our drinks and food, and then we waited. After about 15 minutes, a waitress came to our table and said that the chef had refused to cook our food. She didn't give us any reason for this, and she just shrugged when we asked her why. We were shocked and confused. We had done nothing to offend the chef or the staff, and we couldn't understand why they were refusing to serve us. We asked to speak to the manager, but he was nowhere to be found. The waitress said that she would try to find him, but she never came back. We waited for another 10 minutes, but the manager still didn't appear. We were so disgusted by the way we had been treated that we decided to leave. As we were walking out of the restaurant, we saw the chef standing in the kitchen. He was laughing and joking with the other staff members. It was clear that he didn't care that he had ruined our evening. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated at Sedgemoor Cookhouse. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you are looking for a place to eat where you will be treated with respect, then you should avoid Sedgemoor Cookhouse at all costs.
