A La Mexicana - Bridgton

Slightly older restaurant. friendly and helpful service. eating was good, but a kind of bland. They also had teriyaki chicken wings at the Mexican site. they were good. would try again.

After being closed for a week or so, this restaurant has reopened with not a familiar face in sight. No smiles, no greetings I think there is a language barrier. Food was fine, service was aloof, slow and inattentive. Refill salsa, nobody around, refill chips, nobody around, refill drinks, nobody around, want to pay bill, nobody around. There was one girl on her iPad, another on her phone, a young man with the ear phone in place. A couple cooks, looking sad. Not a pleasant experience. The place used to be so happy and alive, now the only thing going was the super loud music. Even the TV gave up and turned themselves off. Even the bar was empty...... What happened to the folks who used to run this place great service, happy chatter, smiles, a fun place to have a meal where you felt like they appreciated you coming in.

Great little spot for Margaritas, brews and Mexican foods. Bridgton location. Chips and salsa follow you and the hostess to the table. Draft beers come in small and tall. Margaritas are a good size and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Raspberry Margarita. Only problem we had was the drink menu we had was out of date. When we received our check the drinks were priced higher. We pointed it out to our server and he offered to adjust the prices. We declined. Prices were still fair. Extensive menu. Could take a margarita or two to get thru. ? I ordered the Enchilada Rancheras five enchiladas with five different fillings. Delish! Wife ordered the quesadilla plate offered as a one or two. Prices are very reasonable. It took us a minute or two to get our orders in but they came out very quick. Ample serving size. We will definitely visit again.

Underwhelmed over the taco salad here. My date discribed it as cat food. There just wasn't much too it. Tasteless and a visual mess. Salsa and hot chips very good. Staff were friendly. We stopped in around 3:00pm. We were the only ones seated in the dinning room. Seems like this might be a popular watering hole because the bar was crowded. I would add they might want to give the dinning room a good scrubbing.

Very good Mexican food. Good amount of food. Black beans were spot on. I did not drink but my friend had a margarita, which he said was tasty. Wait staff was good and friendly
