Tried this place, he said I should have came earlier because they were sold out of a lot but he whipped something together for me! It was good and flavorful, I would eat here again though.
First Nuff Respect to Chef Steven, producing quality cuisine (organic plant based delicious) for locals and tourists. The food is a delight to the taste buds. I had Chef Steven's version of enchiladas with a side of quinoa cooked in coconut milk; heavenly food. While waiting for the freshly cooked food I was entertained by the friendly lizard and a visiting bird. This is a must visit for those in and around the Bridgetown area. Lion's Share Cafe also offers a delivery service too! You will be impressed by Chef Steven's service, honesty and the superb quality of the food. Updated from previous review on 2023-08-25
Whilst on holiday we found this place through our friend who is a local. The owner was so welcoming. A very gentle soul who was interested in talking food. On that note the food we had was delicious and healthy. No fast food just good healthy options. We also had the superb homemade tamarind kombucha. We were 1 vegan, 1 pescatarian 1 carnivore and were all over the moon with our meals. Would definitely recommend visit again.
Serves classic, vegan Carribean food with a healthy twist! Focused on unprocessed foods such as lentils and quinoa as opposed to faux meats. The owner was super nice and accommodating. We ordered the $25 BBD lunch special. Our lunch included a sort of lentil stew over quinoa, with sweet potatoes, kale and okra on the side. Super yummy and filling! In addition to the lunch special, the menu features dishes such quesadillas and lentil burgers. Note: Definitely call in advance before visiting! We came several times throughout our trip during open hours and the place was deserted.
