Carlton Variety Grille - Bridgetown

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the desserts from A Touch of Jazz, located in the same building, are excellent.

This is a lovely and laid-back spot where locals frequently come to eat and drink. Jefferson (also known as Papa Jack) has built great relationships with his customers, making everyone feel at home. I can't wait to return and try the pigtail chips. In the evening, we enjoyed watching the fireflies and listening to the natural orchestra in the trees. We were also welcomed with a shot of his homemade Rum Punsch.

I highly recommend this charming little restaurant to both travelers and locals. The owner, Papa Jack, is friendly and welcoming. They have great karaoke, making it a fun atmosphere. It's a wonderful place to eat, drink, and enjoy life.

Chef Carlton is truly one of a kind! He cooks with love and makes the best fish and burgers straight from the grill! A must try!

Great owner. Nice guy. They also keep old newspapers so if you miss a day or two you can pick up an older issue of The Nation. He has a little bit of everything. Make sure to bring cash as he doesn't accept any credit or debit cards.
