The Mad Crab Best Seafood In St. Louis

Overall this place was good. It is counter service style restaurant so don't expect Red Lobster service. We got the snow crab, shrimp with sausage corn and potatoes in medium triple threat sauce, beer, wine and the seafood toast (taste of toast not worth the cost). Food came out at a reasonable interval except the toast as a starter came out after the seafood. Triple threat sauce was good but wasnt enough so i had to ask for a side. Server was attentive and friendly. I also dig the idea of using scissors instead of the seafood cracker (although not good for crab claw).

So, first let me say the food was amazing! Two weird things: we had to order and pay at the counter like it was fast food and second, this place is all about crab boils,yet no picks, no bibs, no wet naps, no crackers for the legs. Still, we would go back because they were the best crab legs I've had in quite some time. We did just straight steam with nothing but butter(I'm a purist), but lots of boil seasonings were available. Note- it isn't cheap. But when you pay more you get better food!

Ask for Hugo to serve you. He is the best. The food is great. If you don't get full it's your own fault. Have a drink to go with your food. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for fresh seafood. Get it mild or hot. They also have lots of extras.

Food was so delicious the seasonings are great. If you don't do spice no worries, they have a non spicy option all the way to hot, hot , hot!! Staff was so nice will definitely continue to get my seafood here! I got lobster, clams, shrimp black mussels!

Fun seafood boil restaurant. Quick and friendly service, festive atmosphere. Great decor in the restaurant. We got the combo with the crab, clams, muscles, and shrimp. Ordered lemon pepper, they brought us garlic but we didn't say anything because it was delicious!
