Yesterday's 50s Diner - Bridgeport

Great atmosphere. This place is excavated in 50s 60s memorial. The burgers and shakes are very good. I took my granddaughter and she loved it.

I took my children to their annual suitcase or treats that housed classic cars and rat bars. We enjoyed the evening by taking the show cars and collecting candy. The owner is very friendly! After the car show drink or treat event we went to the 50s style dinner where there are memories everywhere! The walls have wall paintings and classic signs as well as the Nehi drinking bottles that wall the wall and hang a small train path from above! The waitresses are dressed in poodle skirts that you really get back! I love the family-friendly atmosphere and the menu is good ol' southern style comfort cooking. Your chicken fried steak is amazing and I can't get enough of the fried chicken salad! My children enjoyed frits with melted cheese and bacon in a skill (forgot to me the name of the plate). We will be back again and again!!! Thanks for filling us with amazing food and great memories!

Best Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich and made at home Onion Rings I ever!! Husband also loved his Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich!

Love this super sweet place! The atmosphere will deceive you right away. I wish it was closer to our house! Can't wait to visit again. Hubby days probably the best chocolateshake he ever had!

Great food and selection. 50's decor everywhere. Beach wall, Batman wall, lone ranger, old t.v. playing old shows. Each day of the week is a special. Plus what I loved was all you can eat chili and cornbread. And believe me I ate my big share of it. Was spicy enough to get you to keep coming back for more. I have found a new restaurant to go to when I go through Bridgeport, Tx Don't avoid it, enjoy it.
