Hudson Blue Crab House - Bridgehampton

Our visit was a total disaster. We waited 40 minutes for Bottled Water. Had three different individuals pretending to wait on us. The appetizer came after one hour and one half...entrees were on their way we were told two hours in...we left and were not charged...I WILL NOT RETURN NOR SHOULD YOU...SAD...MENU LOOKED PROMISING...BUT KITCHEN AND STAFF NEED A LOT OF WORK...DOUBTFUL THAT THEY WILL MAKE IT.

Orders were delayed, wrong, cold and sent out with ingredients to which one of us were allergic (we told the server). Service was careless. Management was the same. Understaffed and awful service was made worse. Every order had a mistake, every other table experienced the same thing! Staff knows there's a problem and says management doesn't care. Gave me 10% off my bill but I didn't want money off the bill, we just wanted an easy meal.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite this past Friday night. I had the apple cobbler for dessert, and my husband had the homemade clam chowder. The homemade watermelon sangria was delicious.

Great new spot in hamptons, , we are happy to have an alternative to Bostwicks and honestly liked this much better, its a much nicer place and not as expensive. We had the Seabass in Sorrel sauce not sure what sorrel is but it tasted great, was explained as a lemony flavored leafy vegetable. the lobster roll was perfect and Kumomoto oysters to start rocked. nice wine beer and margarita selection to boot

Compared to all the other restaurants in the area this place has a ways to go. The servers appear indifferent, the ambience is nothing special and the food was incredibly average. They will have to really focus on service and quality if they hope to have a chance to make it in this area.
