Las Palapas - Brewer

I was on vacation in Maine and when visiting Stephen King's yard I went to lunch at Las Palapas Mexican restaurant afterwards. The food was delicious ? I m glad I stopped in. Also the service was great!!

Good food, good portions. On a six-top, one person's meal came out much later than the others. That always makes things a little awkward for everyone involved.

I got there before 10 minutes time that my food was done. The pastiest was COLD and stale like it had been sitting there for hours not even in a warmer. Tried calling back and they acted like there was nothing they could do about it. They just couldn’t bothered. Won’t eat it because I’m totally sure that it will give me food poisoning.

Absolutely love the food here eat here every time I can get up that way it's a little over an hour away from me. Service is always impeccable food is amazing love getting the chips and salsa served free drinks are good always come out feeling no pain if you get a drink here LOL This place is truly amazing.Kid-friendliness: Wonderful restaurant has a kids menu and will serve Americanized food like chicken fingers and fries for kids that don't like Mexican food.

Scam artists. After going here several times I began to feel that they were adding extra drinks I never ordered to my bill. Finally, after intentionally going there and ordering drinks and making note of each I caught them in the act.
