The Pilgrims Korai - Brentwood

Been renovated so thought we would give it a go. Poppadoms sent back 3 times as they were soggy and stale. Rest of the food was ok. Nothing special but edible. Bottle of Mateus was £20 which is bit expensive. Won’t rush back. Much better options locally.

I visited here for the first time and I liked the restaurant as lights are dimmed and comfortable seating in nicely decorated restaurant . The food was very nice like Chicken shasklik and Chiken Buna and nan so would definatly come back again .

Food was tasteless, very disappointing, and felt the waiters wanted us to leave as soon as we stopped eating. A catch up with friends and we wanted to chat but felt uncomfortably rushed out. First time we had been and defo won’t be returning

Tried to ring both numbers on their website to order for collection as they’ve been my favourite takeaway for a while, was on hold for an hour (ringing multiple times) stuck listening to the same song on repeat with no answer. Won’t be wasting my time and will be ordering from elsewhere next time

First time we had been after living in Brentwood for almost 15 years and hearing lots of good recommendations. We weren’t disappointed! The service was great especially considering all the Covid-19 protocols in place. Nice atmosphere and tables good distance apart. All the food was super tasty and expertly cooked and we will definitely be returning.
