Minkie's Deli - Brent

We decided to visit Minkies with our 3-month-old baby and my sister and her 4-year-old, as we were looking for a more relaxed environment than a busy pub. The family-run business welcomed us warmly when we arrived at 6.30pm on a rainy August evening. Despite the early hour, the atmosphere was lively and the staff made us feel right at home. They accommodated our bulky pram and ensured we had a spot where we could keep an eye on our sleeping baby. The service was prompt and friendly, with menus provided quickly and drink orders taken. We tried a selection of the sharing plates, which were delicious and came out quickly. We enjoyed them so much that we ordered more. We didn't get to try everything, but we were impressed by the dishes at a nearby table. We will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu. Next time, I plan to leave my partner and baby at home and enjoy a night out with my girlfriends.

Minkies is my deli of choice during the day, they serve the best coffee in Kensal Rise, but now I can enjoy the friendly vibe in the evenings too.. I went on launch night and was wonderful. The chargrilled broccoli in teriyaki reduction and the Mac n cheese croquets were my favourite, but all the food was amazing, all served with kindness by Ollie and his team. If you want to go somewhere which is not a pub or restaurant, that feels like a home from home, put Minkies Deli on your list to try I think only open on Thur, Fri and Sat eves. Highly recommended.

Throughly enjoyed our meal at Minkes, the setting is perfect for a relaxed casual meal and the food was delicious. Kids could not get enough of the macaroni and cheese croquettes. The Lamb Kebab was tender and succulent topped with mouth watering mint source. We just had to order a second round of the delicious grilled aubergine. The staff were super helpful and friendly ensuring we were well looked after. A perfect Saturday night out. Great value for money.

Visited one evening to try the evening fare. Despite being busy the service was good, and the food was very good and reasonably priced. They have a small range of booze to wash it all down with. Great little place.

Everyone knows Minkie's Deli. Whether you are grabbing a quick coffee on the way to the train in the morning, or having a lunch with a friend, or simply getting some snacks for the kids after school, you'll always find it at Minkie's Deli. Good and honest food, friendly staff. Recommended for sure!
