I come back and forth - for 30 years now the fish roast kitchen pompker is a fixed part of my romerhaven visit. the fish is still super tasty, freshly prepared and wonderfully crooked. if you are standing on fresh fish and also like to eat potato salad, then you hardly get past this locality. only one disturbs: after a visit, you smell completely recommended to fish: red-bark fillet with potato salad without mayonnaise and with it fits the cult drink from my jugend: anjola (limonade with linette - earlier this was ananas).

We are in spite of the penetrant ruches (we then wear older garderobe). after a crisis about two years ago you have caught yourself and served traditional back fish with salat (of course also other) in good portion, delicious and fresh. the evaluation would be much more positive, would not be that fatal! actually a pity to a original local, whose staff sometimes does not get the floor out of the back.
The fish roast kitchen polite embodies tradition in the best sense for simple but tasty fish dishes. it seems like falling out of time considering that fish has long since become an expensive, noble product from a simple folk food and bremerhaven has long been the largest fishing port of the continental. Here the fish is served in large portions in the rule in a crispy shell baked in hot oil. whether reddish, cadry, stone bite (my favorite) or pangasius remains left to the personal preference. there are not for free smaller portions which are somewhat cheaper. no court over 10€. the most convenient are the 2 fish-frikadellen with potato salad for 4,80 € and after my opinion there is so easily no better. loose, fresh, not too salty and crispy. Of course, you cannot expect a noble festive environment. this is a rustic approach. the service has good to do and strives for fast delivery. in the entrance area are often slang by customers who take the food freshly fried and packed at the theke to open kitchen with home. that's not a bad choice if you have the opportunity. the biggest disadvantage of höpkers is that the fish odour spreads effortlessly in the dining room and it is very easy to dress up as an unwanted thinking with takes home.
