On the occasion of a birthday we were on 27.10 in vai vai, had booked early enough to get a table on the weser side, which was also confirmed by a very friendly lady. we have a small side table, you can also call it catzentisch. we then spoke the damm from the service and had to answer, we had reserved ourselves only 10 days ago, and by the way, we could also see the one from here. Before we recovered from our speechlessness, the situation was saved by a worker in whom he asked us to wait 5 minutes, it would be a free one. I have to say, totally overestimated that price performance is simply not right. a steak for 30, euro lovable on a mere dish served without deko only does not go, the eye eats with! the pommes much too dark and as supplement extra calculated, the associated sauce was in a small extra pot to choose and corresponded in the consistency rather to a mayonaise, taste, but quite in the order of the burgers for 15, euro was so lukewarm, it was enjoyable, although completely tasteless from meat. the appetizer, thunfischtar with avocadomus was excellent, the bruchetta at the rande was still on black roasted was not offered at all, was perhaps too late? at 22:00 clock with disturbing cleaning. a very unsatisfactory evening for 130 euro, which is not exactly animated to repeat it. in fact, we had promised more of the evening in vai vai.
The vaivai can convince with a very modern and stylish design. certainly not every taste, but we were thrilled. the kitchen could convince us completely. the pizza and pasta dishes were freshly prepared and also very tasty. the waiting time was pretty clear. the price-performance ratio is very good and therefore a clear recommendation.
In relation to vai vai I can only report so well. the environment is absolutely great, I like the industrial design. the chairs I find a bit unpleasant, but the whole flair is great. the kitchen is located in the middle of the restaurant, so they can observe the chef while cooking. the menu is well equipped and the staff very accommodating. the quality is great. for the first time, I had a frying beef, it was medium-drenched and so tender that it could almost be shared with the fork. also at midday there were black steak with self-made pommes, I can only say positiw. best to try yourself.
The steak consisted of 2/3 fat, I was still bad for hours after.
