I went here with friends and we really enjoyed the retro vibe of this place. The drink prices regardless of alcoholic or non are very very reasonable. Food prices are average but we were all really happy with our meals... I can recommend any of...the peanut sauce meals. It's definitely family friendly. Just make sure you reserve a table if you're planning to come on the weekend it's a popular local restaurant
The entrance to this place looks more like it should be a back door, it confused me and I thought we had missed it. Once you come inside you are there is a small double hall, with a closed window into the kitchen. Then a...single room with no more than a docen tables around the bar in the middle, entrance on the left as you come in and toilets on the right. Entrance felt like some dodgy pub, but once inside you start to notice the decorations and pictures of Malay live. The food was excellent, prepared quickly note no desserts! and the waiter very friendly. They also do takeaways. We wanted to eat Malay and we did, it just not your typical restaurant
This I am informed by the locals is a very established restaurant.. The food is indeed good. I especially liked the Gadogado, the nasi goreng, the popiah. Too bad the place opens from only
Strange place which has a Twin Peaks atmosphere. The food is cheap and alright. No place for dating someone you want to impress
