Ristorante Napoli - Bremen

A bit disappointed. I thought I found the optimum Italian restaurant in the center of Bremen… The pasta was OK, the Pizza (Margarita) wasn’t good, no taste and the dough wasn’t good either. This is very personal and it doesn’t mean it’s not a good restaurant. Probably they are more famous for their fish dishes…

We have been going here since the 1970’s. I always used to tell people that this place makes the best pizza I’ve eaten. We went there this July and something has changed. The pizza was like something warmed up from a supermarket. That’s it then, we won’t be going back. Great memories but memories all the same. Time moves on and things change.

First time here and happy about service and food. Very kind waitress and good environment, not easy to find and a bit tiny place but overall a good one

Ristorante italiano che non delude mai. Cucina preparata con cura e sapienza. Molta cura e professionalità sia la gestione sia il servizio e sicuramente la cucina. Il pesce è protagonista in questo ristorante. Torno sempre con gran piacere in questo ristorante anche molto ben frequentato.

Spending on average 1 month per year in Italy - I am a demanding customer when it comes to Italian restaurants. Having an Italian boyfriend at home who spoils me with amazing pasta, I am more easy going for pizza but pasta is another story.. The place is popular, especially among older population of Bremen, it seems. Nothing wrong with the atmosphere - regardless of white table clothes it is still quite personal with art work on the walls and unusual architecture of the room. Unfortunately, food was not amazing. Spaghetti Mare was quite plain, not quite al dente, with a visible surplus of spinach and lack of seafood & garlic. My company was more happy with their penne drained in cream sauce... Obviously a better lunch than average but considering much higher price than average - not an outstanding quality.
