If I'm at carvalhal, this is my place to have a morning coffee, a lunch, sunset delicacies or a long evening meal. it is an honest place with great food, real ingredients and fresh ideas. I love it when the local ingredients use like fresh vegetables. from the adjacent garden, kartoffels from the cultures near the rice fields and wein from the producers, namely herdade da comporta or brejinho da costa. also neighboring wineries. this represents a great value and gives its local experience enough. from fishing from our coast, seafood to meat is everything to try. but I confess that the shrimps with sose is the reason why I often go there.

A breathtaking October Saturday ensured that sol with the Lisboan weekends, most of a late explosion of summer temperatures. this is classic beach chic with superlative seafood to go with it and exemplary service to boot. the starters were the highlight. tiny otopus in a garlic jus, for fresh fresh fresh garnels, which I had like no tastes and a tomato and oregano salad, which has reinvented the real taste of toms! and I must not forget the simply grilled grouper that had been pulled out of the sea this morning. washed with a perfect local white. a good lunch.

This is a restaurant we visit every summer when we are on vacation nearby. The fish is fresh and good, and the seafood is nice. It can be crowded, and at times the service is slow, but apart from that, there is nothing to complain...about. The prices are also quite reasonable.

Great service, fantastic location and the prawns were out of this world. The portions are huge so go careful.

Nice place with nice and friendly staff! The food was delicious and was not too expensive. The restaurant was a bit empty what was weird but everything went ok!
