Just a front for Herbalife. Go buy a blender and some real fruits and vegetables, save some money, and avoid being conned into a MLM.
I 've been seeing these nutrition cafe 's pop up everywhere near me, so I decided to give Brecksville Nutrition a try. I was skeptical at first, knowing about the history of the brand Herbal Life, and how its proven to be a pyramid scheme/MLM. Along with this, the only information of these cafe 's are on instagram, and the only actual information provided was the hours. Very confusing! I tried basically everything they had; coffee, tea, shakes, and donut shots . As for the tea, I have to admit that it did give me lots of energy, and without that midday crash that other sources of caffeine can give. The flavor wasn 't great, although I did take a liking to the blue razz flavor, which I later found out I could buy the SAME EXACT powder mix that they use in a box at Walgreens for $1. Brecksville Nutrition, however, charges $8 for this. Its also filled to the top with ice so you aren 't really getting a good value. The shakes are nothing special either. There isnt really a taste to them, except for that crappy protein taste- I found the same with the coffee. Donut shots werent bad, although I doubt it actually achieved what it claimed to do. Their marketing techniques were clever, although I doubt they will last much longer at all. Some adolescents in their early 20s just posting on instagram and making their cafe aesthetically pleasing to teens is sure, enough to get people to stop in at first, but won 't keep anyone hooked long enough to keep them in business much longer. Once people get over the initial craze of these so called nutrition cafe 's, I can bet on the cold brew on the desk next to me that they will go out of business. I actually don 't hate them, i 'm just a highly opinionated teenager that likes to write long yelp reviews. Anyways, I think its unrealistic, overpriced, and just overrated in general. I think i 'll stick with my $2 energy drinks from the gas station. overall i give it a solid 4/10. No hate lol.
Stopped in yesterday on my way to Cuyahoga Valley National Park. I had never been to one of these nutrition spots before but have noticed they are popping up all over the place in greater Cleveland/Akron/Youngstown area. Staff was more than friendly and extremely knowledgeable on their products. The drink i got was a 10/10. Will be returning when i am in the area.
