The Ashvale Fish And Chip - Brechin

The only recommended Fish and chips restaurant in the whole UK. Also the cheesecake they have it’s very delicious.

It's always something to look forward to when I come to the NorthEast and I'm never disappointed with their fish and chips. I dropped a star because while the food is delicious although pricier by £2 and my local chippy gives you 2 fish. I dropped the star because I wasn't impressed one bit at the young lass who seemed in charge of the counter and how she interacted with the the other quines. The food however was amongst the best.

I really enjoyed the restaurant! The portion sizes were impressive for the price. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but overall, the food was very good.

Every time we visit, we dine here. The fish and chips are incredible, especially when paired with bread, butter, and either tea or coffee. The service is fantastic, thanks to the very friendly staff. We had a party of 19, and it was no problem for the team; all the food was served at the same time and was piping hot.
