Fratellino's Italian - Brea

We arrived at the restaurant and were seated quickly. After placing our order, our food came out fast, hot, and fresh. As I looked around, I realized I wasn't the only one enjoying the evening; everyone seemed to be having a great time. We were celebrating my grandpa's birthday, and the staff brought him a dessert with a candle. We all sang the birthday song, and a few people nearby joined in. It turned out to be a wonderful evening for the whole family. The food was delicious, the table arrangements were well done, and our server frequently checked in to make sure we were doing okay, which felt more personal compared to other places that feel more robotic. As for parking, there are free spots available in a shared lot, and the restaurant offers good wheelchair accessibility with double doors and a few handicap parking spaces right out front.

I’m honestly surprised this restaurant has around 4.5 stars. I don’t like to criticize businesses, but I didn’t enjoy my experience here. While the waitstaff was polite, they took an excessive amount of time for everything. I waited about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. The ravioli was decent, though the beef variety had a slightly gamey flavor. The spaghetti sauce tasted canned and lacked proper seasoning. The meatballs were fine, but they definitely needed more flavor. The pizza reminded me of something from Chuck E. Cheese or Shakey’s. I’m really disappointed because I was hoping to find a good Italian restaurant to visit regularly, but unfortunately, my expectations were not met.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by the friendly staff and delicious food. They offer a fantastic deal where you can upgrade your meal to a combo for just $3.50. This includes your choice of soup or salad, extra garlic bread, ice cream, and a 4oz glass of wine (available upon request with proof of age). Additionally, if you join their rewards program, you’ll receive 10% off your first visit. Overall, a great experience!

WOW! This Italian restaurant is amazing. The food is authentically delicious, and the service was excellent. The ambiance in the restaurant transports you to Italy with the hand painted Italian countryside murals. The lunch special is great with a salad, garlic bread, generous lunch portion entree and complimentary glass of wine. You won't leave hungry, and it will quickly become your favorite Italian restaurant. I will be back.
