Very nice place to eat. Food is good. Service is fair. Price is very reasonable. One of our favourite restaurants.

Food ok at times bathroom needs work it has gone downhill last 3 years it was my favorite place to go at one time now i dot go i dot understand how it was great place to eat now its not the west Garden can do better needs lots of work and upkeep its a big deal with me bathroom needs to be clean good not jut a quick clean and needs to be updated not going to see me back intil i see big improvements

If you want the cheapest chinese buffet in town, this is your place. But if you want decent food and a great variety, go somewhere else, especially if you're eating past 6:30 pm. I've been going to this restaurant on and off for about 10 years. When we first started going, it was great for the price. Lately though, the only decent food is the chicken wings. Any dishes that have vegetables, they are either not cooked enough so they are very hard or they are cooked so much they nearly have no flavour and are mushy. If you go to their website, they say the dinner buffet starts at 4:30 pm and ends at either 8:30 or 9 pm, depending on the day of the week. However, do not go after 6:30 if you're expecting everything to be there. They rarely fill any of the dishes after 6:30 and definitely not after 7. The last time I went, my husband and I went with friends. We sat and waited for them to refill the chicken wings (the only thing my husband really looks forward to there) or the chicken they used to have on a stick, I'm not sure what it's called now. Anyway, that's my favourite. We waited for over 20 minutes while our friends ate just waiting for these dishes to be refilled. And these are the most popular dishes there. Every time we go we have to fight for them and they go quickly. So it's not like they don't know this. After 20 minutes, my husband was already irritated to the point we had to leave. The server who comes and takes the dirty plates and gets us drinks never said a word to us. Instead, she tried to charge our friends for our meals too, even though we didn't have anything but drinks, which we left money to pay for. She almost didn't believe them, yet she had come to our table at least twice in that 20 minutes and not once did we have a plate in front of us. It's really sad since we used to enjoy this place, but it's really gone downhill in the past few years. I will say though, their dessert buffet is one of the best in town. And generally the staff is very, very nice. But after all those years of loyalty, I just can't say anything more. I would definitely not recommend eating here unless you go early in the evening, never past 6:30 for sure.
