Trattoria Giuliana - Brantford

Despite being the only group of six in the restaurant, they were somehow out of two of the dishes we ordered. The food took a long time to come out, with the excuse that everything had to be made from scratch. It seemed strange that they couldn't handle a larger crowd. The non-functioning debit machine seems to be a common issue based on past reviews, and we were only informed about it after our meal was served. The food itself was underwhelming and lacked flavor. To add to the disappointment, we were overcharged $6.00 for a bottle of wine that we didn't even get to choose from. For a better Italian dining experience in Brantford, I recommend going to Speekezzie's instead. I certainly won't be returning to this restaurant after this experience.

What used to be a nice family restaurant has devovled into a disaster. Frozen food, single bottles on the winelist. Pasta that was for dinner taking so long it was brought as a takeout and not what was ordered. This restaurant should be allowed to die if it has not already. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Just generally and awful place. Not Italian at all. Place was dirty, food was bland, caesar salad with no garlic or parmesan. Ask for parmesan and I got processed powder. No red wine to serve at 5:30pm. Unfortunate as it use to be so good!!

We have been here before, and found the food was very good. But on out last visit with another couple we found that most of what we ordered they did not have the items needed to prepare the meal or have the Enough of a beer brand for the table. When we were able to order what they could make, 3 of the dishes had to be sent back to heat the lasagna thru it to turn the fettuccini Alfredo soup presented to us into fettuccine Alfredo pasta and sauce. I will say once the hit it right, it was very good.

Needed to feed a hungry crowd on a Saturday night. Went to Marilyn and ordered a variety of different dishes. Marilyn and her staff were able to accommodate me on a very short timeline. The food as usual was amazing, but we already knew that it was wonderful to hear all the compliments made by our guest, guests who never before had the pleasure of enjoying Marilyn's hard work. Thanks for helping us have a wonderful evening. Thanks for providing wonderful homemade food at a reasonable price. I'm sure you already know this's Marilyn, but we will be back.
