Maria's Fish and Chips & Eatery

I visited Maria's Fish and Chips with my son on 06/23. We went in before his karate class and left early. The waitress took our drink order and brought them 20 minutes later. Another couple came in after us and got their food before us, which I found strange. Our food took about 50 minutes to arrive, and it was overcooked and not good. My son's pogo was burnt and inedible. The cook came out to ask if we had ordered, wiping sweat from his brow. I was very disgusted and found the experience unprofessional. Our meal cost almost $20 and was not worth $5. The food was greasy and overcooked. I would not recommend this place and had one of the worst experiences in 7 years of living here. Save yourself time and money and go to KFC instead.

Have suffrered through two ownership changes and the last shows how downhill a place can get. The cashier seemed very confused, they got our order wrong and we ended up waiting for 45 minutes for a takeout. Haddock was overcooked, dry and the batter burnt as well as the fries. Apparently everyone involved needs either further time to get better at what they are trying to do or lessons from someone who knows the business.

Read a few reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. Not dissapointed in the food or the service. Quality fish and chips are hard to find so im always a skeptic. Portions are generous, fish is crisp with a moist delicious inside. Chips were perfectly done too.We ate till we were stuffed but could not finish.

Place was never good until the last time I stopped in here about a week ago with a few friends on my way to a music festival. I gotta say, this place was great! The food was delicious, the portions were so satisfactory that we had to take some to go, and the staff were very friendly. We were all left happy and full when we left Maria's Fish & Chips.

Whenever we are craving Fish & Chips, this is our go-to spot. The fish is always deep-fried with a crispy English-style batter that is perfectly cooked. The chips are also delicious, deep-fried to perfection and pleasantly crispy.
