This place has chandeliers and ornate architecture inside and out. But the real gem is the options for pies and cakes, and coffee and tea.We ordered a carrot cake and coconut creme pie and both were delicious and paired well with our coffee latte. You can tell that the carrot cake was homemade and the icing was delectable. The cake wasn't too dense and the spices were well-balanced.The coconut creme pie crust was tasty. The filing was creamy and flavorful but it had a hint of imitation coconut flavoring. The pie was topped with roasted coconut flakes which added texture and depth.Overall, good atmosphere but feel a little cluttered. Most of the decorations and displays have tags for sale.Park outside in the public parking lot or on the curb. There are no bathrooms inside the cafe. However, there's a public restroom conveniently outside by the parking lot.
I honestly cannot remember being so angry leaving a business in my life. The pie safe, I figured we could maybe get a fresh pie for Christmas. I dropped my dad off and parked, we stood in line for 35min, never even a hello from staff, they all waited on a Norwegian group and got them 5 coffees for over half an hour. They never even said hello, at around 40 minutes they said cash only our computer went down. We stood there like idiots for 40mins. We would have bought 200plus dollars worth of pies. And yes we had cash. I hope your business fails, you don't even know how to greet a guest wanting to buy multiple pies. No we didn't want a stupid coffee.Kid-friendliness: Rude.
DO NOT GO. Was treated like rubbish here. Tried to order and immediately was met with eye rolling, sighing as if I’m a problem ordering, and then I was talked about right in front of me with me standing there. I have never in my life been treated like this in a place of business or ever left a bad review. But it was this bad.
We live in Branson and, having cabin fever from the days and Days and DAYS of rainy, gloomy, freezing, icy weather, decided to go for a drive. Since it's been a long time since we've driven the area, we wound up in downtown Branson. Lots of changes! Decided to stop here for pie, but had chicken salad croissants and cookies instead. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! It's a small shop (5-6 small tables). Great personality. Friendly. You won't regret stopping in!
The filling/fruit was lacking. I had a pumpkin and a Berry pie. Pumpkin was ok, berry pie I could hardly find a piece of fruit. Branson is a tourist town.... Not worth the price.
