Silver Dollar City Sampling Events

Great selection of food. We were here for Mother's Day Brunch. We had a wonderful time. The servers were so nice. Enjoyed everything about our visit.

Was horribly disappointed. This was the first time in 25 years that have been let down by SDC. The food was far below standards, nor did it match what had been advertised online. The whole reason for paying 21 dollars a person was to sample the cusines brought in for the festival, only a few things were actually on the buffet. Most of which was disgusting, everyone in our party left fighting waves of nausea. All in all we felt ripped off with the whole experience.

The salads and grilled cheese sandwiches were really good, but everything else was pretty much a disappointment. The hot entrees were lukewarm and/or bland, and the cupcakes were dry. The online description had us all thinking the $22/ person might just be worth it, but we all agreed it would have made a lot more sense at $15/person. That said, we will avoid SDC 's sampling events in the future. They don 't seem to know how to price it appropriately or how to pull it off successfully.

Unfortunately, the food was terrible. I imagine it would have been good if it were fresh or hot but there was not ONE THING that was hot or fresh. Everything was cool in nature. My husband I were both worried that we would get sick. If you have kids that are picky eaters, DO NOT come here for this buffet unless they like cold hamburger wrapped hot dogs, cold alligator or frog legs, and desserts cut in quarters. Truly the best part was probably the salad. We would have gotten up and left had we not committed ourselves to a $50 dinner. Save your money...eat elsewhere!!!
