Clockers Cafe - Branson

One of the friendliest places we visited during our time in Branson! The cookie cake was fantastic, and the hashbrowns were delicious as well. There are plenty of options to choose from. Definitely check out this spot when you're in town!

We have been dining at this restaurant for years and have visited twice this year, but we have decided not to return. The food is decent, but nothing exceptional. The service is somewhat slow, and they seem to be pricing themselves out of repeat customers. What bothered me the most was the waitress who handled various tasks without washing her hands—she collected dirty dishes, took cash and credit cards, and brought out food. I was also surprised to see that two "expensive" desserts were served in different-sized dishes yet were priced the same. Overall, I was quite disappointed and left feeling frustrated. I understand that finding good employees is a challenge these days, but poor service can really hurt a business.

We had lunch there at 11:30 a.m. It wasn’t crowded at the time, but there was a line forming by the time we left. Unfortunately, the food was below average for diner fare. The man ordered French toast, which was made with thin slices of white bread but lacked any fluffiness; it was simply soggy and didn’t have any cinnamon or vanilla flavor, nor was there any whipped cream to elevate the dish. I opted for the "2 o'clock special," which included a half chicken salad sandwich and a side salad. The sandwich was also on plain white bread and came with just a scoop of chicken salad, while the side salad was very basic. On a positive note, our waitress was very sweet and called everyone “you children,” but that didn’t compensate for the lack of flavor in the food. I’m puzzled as to why this place is considered a "must-visit" on travel guides. We're not particularly picky eaters, but unless someone is absolutely starving, I would recommend heading to Billy Gail's instead. It's also popular among tourists and is definitely worth the hype.

I have never been in this restaurant, while in branson I am so glad that I found that eating is excellent, this service is fast, also with a pack restaurant we even went a second time

A surprise hit! I’m not really a “hole in the wall” dining type of person, but we were hungry and we’d heard someone mention Clocker’s. It was right around the corner. So we went. We were seated right away, it was clean, the employees were friendly, and the food was good and plentiful. We enjoyed our lunch!
