Da Carmine's - Branford

The picture was Mozz Pizza and Calzone. It's a little calzone... It is massive and very good. Pizza was good, but not comparable to the pizza places in New Haven. Also had a small Hiccup with the square. But I would say this pizza is a top for the Branford area. I'd give the pizza 7.6.

Good price for quantity here. Filled breads are not cut and could probably use a few extra minutes in the oven (I'm sure they would do it if you asked. Hot sauce is actually spicy unlike most other restaurants. Owner is also a big guy. I would recommend this place.

I love this place. My family has been getting great food from them for over 18 years. Your pizzas are cooked perfectly every time. Many toppings. Love there wings, pastas, garlic bread etc. I never had a mistake on orders. The owners and other staff are super and dinner friendly! We have a lot of supplements to her food we have ordered for my daughter graduation party! It is a family-friendly place to trust!

Having grown up in New York, I’m very — VERY — picky when it comes to pizza and Italian fare. Da Carmine’s is the best pizza we’ve had in Connecticut, hands down. It is akin to the best traditional New York pizza. Their pasta dishes and breads are absolutely delicious as well. Unassuming little strip mall pizza place really packs a punch. Try their pizza, you won’t regret it.
