Tim Hortons - Brandon

We travel through Brandon from Winnipeg on our way to Saskatoon a few times a year and it is a convenient place to stop for a coffee. It is hard to believe but the service at this Tim Hortons continues to get worse. The experience is bad from the time you walk in the door, which has a crowded line up and includes the dirty bathrooms. They finally have put in a hand dryer that actually works. Today there were six people working behind the counter. There were two people in front of us and we noticed the drive thru was almost empty. Even with this it took twenty minutes to get coffee. We had our own travel mugs which the server could not get open. She gave them back to me to open which I did in one second and she never came back. I asked another server if she could fill our order, which she did. This took another five minutes. The lady in front of me had ordered Tim bits which she received but was still waiting for her coffee after I got mine. Customer service here is non existent, there us no hi or welcome and god forbid is there a thank you. We will not go to this Tim Hortons again even though it is convenient and next to a gas station. Instead we will go to the MacDonald's which is not as convenient to get into but the service is friendly and respectful. The coffee there is actually better and cheaper. This service problem with Tim Hortons is endemic to all of their establishments , but this one and the one in Gimli Manitoba and the moosamin Manitoba are particularly bad. I have always said no matter which Tim Hortons I have been to and I have travelled from coast to coast, that the staff have to be sent to inefficiency school in order to work there. Don't waste your time going into this particular location or any other unless you really like their mediocre coffee and poor service.

Most of the time this is a pretty good place.At least the food seems fresh.It could use better cleaning in bathrooms & all floors.

We enjoy Tim Hortons and frequently stop at them when travelling. Staff here very friendly and efficient! Washrooms clean and they were well stocked with Christmas gifts to purchase.

Have used many Timmy's all over Canada and all of them are good. When you want to pull off the highway for a coffee and soup they cant be beaten. I have to say love their Chili in a bun but did not find it in many this time???? I think Tim's should migrate to Australia. This one in Brandon was clean and the staff served quickly, sometimes with a lot of customers it can be a bit of a wait! kudos to the staff in Brandon!

The difference between one Timmie's and another is service. This one is highly variable. I've been served by very friendly, knowledgeable people in a timely manner, sometimes I've been ignored, and now today I've experienced grumpy at this Timmie's.In the morning it's always very busy.At night, be warned, you may find they have no doughnuts! On a different visit, about 9pm on a weeknight my son and I stopped in and ... no doughnuts! I asked if more were coming. No, I was told, it's late. I asked when they closed, assuming it was too close to closing to restock the doughnuts. We're open 24 hours, I was told. ... selling what, I'm not sure!Oh well. I'll come back because other times the staff have been really nice. Especially the nice ladies with an accent.
