Mum's Family Restaurant - Brandon

Arrived around 1215 and the place was almost full. Pretty crowded quarters! Our waitress did an excellent job of serving us quickly. We tried the beef dip, chicken fingers and fries/gravy. It was all typical diner fare but was good and hot. I would return again especially for breakfast.

I would eat there again. Basic no frills diner with lots of usual diner selection. Daily specials. I had pork chops grilled to perfection and came with very fresh house salad. Excellent fries. Good and friendly service. Very popular with seniors with discount age 55+. No WiFi. Not a date restaurant but perfect for middle age and older couples. Limited seating.

This small family diner-type restaurant has very tasty food with large portions and reasonable prices. I had the Salisbury steak which came with fries, garlic toast (3 pieces in total), gravy and my choice of side dish, which was coleslaw. The meat and coleslaw were good, but the stars of the plate were the fries and the gravy. Both were really delicious and combined they were ambrosia. Other dishes had by our group were the hot turkey sandwich (with a generous portion of real turkey meat) and the chef salad, which came on a huge salad plate that could have fed two people. Two of us shared the homemade blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious and not too sweet. Far too large a portion for one person, so consider sharing. The atmosphere was casual and friendly while the seating was limited as its a bit of a smaller place. Would love to go here again.

Hometown diner with home style meals. Friendly and fast. Stopped in at supper time. I had the meatloaf and my husband had breakfast. Good amount of food. The desserts were huge.

Very small facilities, very fast service. I had breakfast, and it was good, coffee extra! Not worth waiting for. Should really have coffee included for these prices.
