Favorite place to eat!. Me and my boyfriend go every other weekend. On Saturdays from 1130 to 330 its all you can eat for $10 a person! Depending on the day and time you go will depend on everything. The food is great, and sometimes even better on other days. Last Saturday had to have been the best food! My favorites include ginger salad, the clear onion soup, the chicken, and lately the mt. Fugi roll has been on point! If you want to go out and eat but don't want to pay over $25 this place is the best! I find it better then kobes. Just give the waiter's patience. They may not come after a bit but they do serve a lot of tables! : give this place 5 stars. You can't just go once.
Good food and concept in very busy location.... The food is pretty good and the concept of all you can eat hibachi and sushi is pretty clever. The negative is they need the best servers for this type of environment..We went here a few times and service was good one time and terrible the next. People wont come back if service is slow in this type of menu offering. If they get organized and have servers who are friendly and skillful this place can really do good in growing Brandon.
Good concept and food HORRIBLE management. The food is very good and the concept makes a lot of sense. Endless for for $18; that 's a pretty good price considering you can order endless specialty rolls of sushi that would cost a fortune anywhere else. The problem is the way the place is managed. As soon as you come in you start hearing all of the 'rules '. When we were seated we asked the busboy (who brought us our booster seats for some waters the answer we were me with was 'I 'm not allowed o bring water without permission from the server. ' crazy! Still took another 5 minutes for our server to find her way to our table; still no water. (Clearly permission was not granted. We asked her again for the water and to explain how the menu/ordering workS. That is when we got the next set of rules, explaining how we will be charged extra for everything we do not finish. I would hate to be the server that has to count all of the food on people 's plates in order to charge them more. They are setting up the wait staff for confrontation from unhappy customers instead of making it an great dining experience. She then left and finally returned with our waters a few minutes later. We were then questioning about the next rule, there is a $1 surcharge for any change to any sushi roll on top of the dining price. This doesn 't make much sense as this is an endless ordering restaurant what 's the difference how you want your sushi? The change we wanted to make was an exchange of avocado to cucumber on 4 rolls. This isn 't really about the $4 it would have cost more about being 'nickel and dimed '.After getting nowhere with the waitress, she brought the manager. He came, we explained what we wanted and how it doesn 't increase any cost his response was 'that 's just the policy ' then laughed and walked away. A manager shouldn 't walk away from a table knowing he left a customer dissatisfied over a piece of cucumber. The food was great which is why we left the restaurant conflicted as to whether or not to go back. Great concept but no interest in keeping a customer happy.
We live in Orlando and always go to Koizi when we're in Tampa. We'll the last few times they've been closed accept for to go, which is understandable. We were so excited to see them open this past weekend! Everything was handled so well, you really feel safe when dining in. Everything was served with disposable dishes and cutlery. I wish I would've gotten the server's name because she was great, but the service is always great when we come! Thank you for reopening!!
