We ended up eating there twice in 2 days as the food was so good and the people so friendly. Helps that we speak Corse and French but I saw alot of foreigners (English, italian etc all having a great meal). Food is simple, fresh and good. What can be more simple than a salad of 4 different coloured tomatoes, lettuce, anchovies, capers and caper berries topped with good quality olive oil and served with delicious bread and cold rose wine? Tony had local fish and I the octopus salad (another entree/starter). Followed up by sharing a plate of local tasty cheese and shared a dessert (frozen nougat icecream). All good and served with a smile and wine suggestions etc despite being the busiest time of year. Highly recommended. Lunch menu reduced - I believe they don't do pizzaz at lunch time.
Was hoping for a decent meal after several good dinners on Corsica. However A Piazetta disappointed with overcooked meat and simple fare. The entrecote was so poor we couldn't eat it, but the waiter paid no notice that the dish was returned uneaten and no questions asked. Naturally the bill didn't reflect the poor experience. Felt like a tourist trap despite plenty of good previous reviews.
Enjoyed pizza and pasta with the family in this lovely fishing village courtyard restaurant. The service was good and the food was enjoyable. Great place to sit under a large tree and watch the world go by.
Stopped for lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon. There are a number of small restaurants in this location but this one has the best terrace thanks to the huge tree that provides lots of shade. Had moules frites and dessert. ????
We had dinner here on a chilly Saturday night. We discovered all the inside seating taken so we had to sit outside away from the heaters which were the only seats available. Still, we were not ignored and the service was friendly, fast, and efficient from two English-speaking servers. The pizza we ordered was nothing more than just OK. Not at all special. It was thin-crusted, the size of a large dinner plate, and cost E13. It didn't look like the one pictured above in Photos. We improved it's taste by adding spicy olive oil brought to our table. Overall, not a great value, but we’ve found everything to be on the expensive side in Corsica. The red house wine was much better and tasted very good. The restaurant is wonderfully situated in the center of the village on a piazza with an old large tree providing shade. We enjoyed our dining experience here but would definitely not go back for their pizza.
