Wendel Clark's Classic Bar and Grill

Quite disappointed. I expected something to stand out from a quality or originality perspective and was disappointed. We had the tenderloin sliders and the calamari and it was pretty basic. Nothing to return for. Not cheap for boring food. They will need to step up their game if they expect to survive right beside the square.

Heard some horror stories about slow service and poorly-cooked meal when it first opened. Had lunch here after the Farmer's Market and it was great. I don't usually order salads but I really enjoyed the Sashimi salad. A bit heavy on the dressing but my fault for not asking for the dressing on the side. Nice restaurant, cozy atmosphere. Great location in downtown Brampton but I guess it would get very busy before/after shows at the Rose. I'm glad we gave it a try.

Brampton has some great restaurants but this is not one of them. Shenali, Aman and I met for lunch here @wendelclarksbrampton and the server was great but the food was horrific. I ordered the smoked meat sandwich on rye. The meat was dry as the desert and over cooked. The bread was not rye and was over toasted to the point it was crispy like Melba toast. Not good. The chef needs to visit a nice Jewish deli to learn how to make a sandwich correctly. The mustard was pedestrian ie yellow paste instead of good quality mustard. The fries were ok. The best part of my meal? The beer. My colleagues' lunches were equally dismal, over cooked fish for Shenali and tough steak for Aman. Aman also had the pleasure of a soggy serviette under his salad. Really? When we complained about the food quality, the manager was argumentative saying the food met their specs. Good grief. Not recommended.

I have been there 3 times, hoping that it would get better .Will not return......... $24 for a pitcher of beer!!!!! Apparently 6 average size chicken wings are a pound at this place. I ordered medium wings and they were probably the worst I've ever had . Don't ask about specials because there are none Service is slow too. I expected much more from this place

I went to this location with a large group of people that had booked long in advanced. The manager did not staff the restaurant properly. The poor waiters and waitresses had to run around like crazy people. The table that I was seated at did not get our drink orders taken until a hour after we arrived. When the drinks finally came my friend got her drink and there was something black in it so she asked if the drink could be changed and she was brought back the same drink. Afterwards, we got our food orders taken. At my table, THE FOOD NEVER CAME and we had been at the restaurant for 3 hours. Although, some tables did revive their meals and their meat was raw. People who ordered chicken wings or chicken burgers would bite into there food and BLOOD WOULD COME SEEPING OUT. The burgers were red also with tons of blood. As we were a large group we had to pay in advanced and people rightly wanted their money back. The manager was not kind or apologetic he was very rood. DO NOT GO to this restaurant!!!
