Plus it was a small fortune, Harvey's smokes this joint for half the cost. The property must be worth 5 million at least. So sad.Lorne.Parking: Many spots.
Such a nostalgic place. The food here is tasty and always consistent with their quality. They are open year round and even though they only have limited outdoor seating it's worth it. The perfect spot to visit on a summer night
This will be my first and last time going there. The burger was mid, I’ve had better. I also got the poutine and the fries absolutely disgusting, literally tasted like how a farm smells. I had to just throw it away.
Sonys has been our favourite spot for our family for over 15 years now. I understand times have changed , prices has fluctuated, but yesterday was BEYOND a huge disappointment. We purchased 8 boxes of poutine for my family and when I saw the boxes I was in complete shock, the size of the box is literally half the size of what it used too, (bottle of water for reference) and now is using paper boxes which causes all the cheese and the paper of the box get stuck together and we had to scrape the paper off the cheese as well as the box got soggy/wet. We asked the employee if the box is smaller, and he said it’s the same size but deeper box. Which is definitely not true. THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT WE LOVE SONYS, more of informing. We love the original portion size, and the original box it came in, maybe raise your price if needed, but the reduce box size and quality is sad.
Got a cheeseburger and fries which were fine and did their job but they weren’t great. This meal was like something you’d experience at a family backyard BBQ. Pretty frustrating they don’t accept debit/credit especially since we just experienced a pandemic and nearly every business shifted to accepting debit/credit but they do conveniently have an ATM that charges a $3 fee. Will not be returning because I do think I’d rather spend my money elsewhere, like Harvey’s or Five Guys because the quality and convenience are there.Parking: Lots of parking
