La Capannina Restaurant - Brampton

Once again, I was privileged to be the guest at this enchanting restaurant. Massimo, the chef was as always, so welcoming and treated us like royalty....the salad was to die for, so fresh....basil, mozarella, shrimp.....and the ambience was wonderful....left with a full tummy and heart...Thank you Massimo and your wonderful family! My wife and I wanted to attend one of the older established Italian restaurant in Brampton. this place has always delivered. lots of specials. for appetizer the seafood bisque was excellent, lots of shrimp, big and small, and great tasting broth with mushrooms. my wife had the ravioli, excellent, I had the seafood combo, orange ruffy, scampi, and scallops were great.

Had an experience last night that was beyond amazing. Our reservation was for 17 people to celebrate our disabled daughter's 40th birthday. This included our daughter's grandparents aged 92 and 87. Sabrina, our server, was the best we have ever had. She recognized that grandma was hearing impaired and was so understanding. Spent extra time verbalizing using strong lip words.The food was served in a very timely manner. Very hot and fresh. Cudos to Massimo in the kitchen. His organization is fabulous.The food was amazing too. Everyone loved the salads, appetizers and mains. Oops forgot the soups, that were superb.This was the best dining experience we have ever experienced. We have had other family gatherings at La Capanina over the years and they were all great, but, Sabrina made this very special.As Massimo said, she is Wonder Woman.Thank you La Capannina, for a wonderful experience.

It was my 1st and only time and it was not a great impression. The food was ok but for the price, it was disappointing. My husband had fish that arrived overcooked. After bringing it to the waiters attention, no apologies or an offer for something else. Instead after 20 minutes, the same overcooked fish arrived at the table after everyone else at the table had finished their meal. The bill came and the fish was not removed. Presentation was very old fashioned and not in a good way. I do not recommend this place unless you are not expecting too much.

Our family gathered together here for a meal and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice. There were many stairs to climb to the upstairs dining area so that may be difficult for some people to get up there.
